  • 1994

    In March, Dongguan Lee & Man Paper Factory Co., Ltd was founded by Mr Patrick Lee, the Chairman and Mr Raymond Lee, the CEO, under the laws of PRC as a WOFIE engaging in containerboard manufacturing business.

  • 1995

    In May, Lee & Man Paper Mfg. (H.K.) Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong to carry out treasury functions for the Group.

  • 1996

    Construction and installation of production facilities commenced at the Dongguan Huangyong plant.

  • 1998

    In August, the Group’s first and the second production lines (PM1 & PM2) commenced operation with an aggregate annual capacity of 100,000 tons of containerboard.

  • 2000

    In October, the Group’s third production line (PM3) commenced operation at Huangyong plant, with an annual capacity of 220,000 tons of containerboard.

  • 2002

    In October, the Group’s third production line (PM3) commenced operation at Huangyong plant, with an annual capacity of 220,000 tons of containerboard.
    In October, the Group’s fourth production line (PM4) commenced operation at the Huangyong plant, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of containerboard.
    In October, Evergreen Trading Company Limited was incorporated in Malaysia to facilitate raw
    In November, the Changshu Project commenced construction. The whole project involves approximately 600,000 m2 of land.

  • 2003

    In June, the Group set up a wholly-own subsidiary Lee Kwok (Macao Commercial Offshore) Trading Limited in Macau to facilitate the sourcing of OCC and to carry out treasury functions in respect of the Group’s OCC purchases.
    In June, the Group set up a wholly-own subsidiary WangKei(Macao Commercial Offshore) Trading Limited in Macau to promote and export the Group’s paper products.
    In September, the Group successfully listed on the Mainboard of Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 02314)
    In December, the Group’s fifth production line (PM5) commenced operation at Changshu plant, with an annual capacity of 320,000 tons of containerboard.

  • 2004

    In December, the Group’s fifth production line (PM5) commenced operation at Changshu plant, with an annual capacity of 320,000 tons of containerboard.
    In March, the Group announced to build the third production plant in Hongmei, Dongguan, China.
    In October, the Group’s sixth production line (PM6) commenced operation at Changshu plant, with an annual capacity of 350,000 tons of containerboard.

  • 2005

    In February, the Group announced that it has purchased a 200,000-ton pulp plant in Samoa City of California of USA.

  • 2006

    In January, the Group’s seventh production line (PM7) commenced operation at Hongmei plant, with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of containerboard.
    In April, our Changshu plant has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 international certification from SociétéGénérale de Surveillance (SGS).

  • 2007

    In February, the Group’s eighth production line (PM8) commenced operation at Changshu plant, with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of containerboard.

    In June, the Hongmei plant was awarded ISO9001:2000 international certification from SGS.
    In August, the Group’s eleventh production line (PM11) commenced operation at Hongmei plant, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of containerboard.
    In September, the Group’s tenth production line (PM10) commenced operation at Changshu plant, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of containerboard.
    In October, the Company was selected by Forbes Asia as one of “The Region’s Top 200 Small &Midsize Companies” in Asia.

  • 2008

    In June, the Group’s twelveth production line (PM12) commenced operation at Hongmei plant, with an annual capacity of 450,000 tons of containerboard.
    In June, the Group received the Green Medal of the “One Factory-One Year-One Environmental Project” from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries.
    In August, Jiangsu Lee & Man received OHSAS 18001 certificationand IECQ QC080000 on Hazardous Substance Process Management certification.
    In October, the Group’s thirteenth production lines(PM13) commenced operation at Chongqing plant, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of containerboard.
    In October, the Group disposed Evergreen Pulp at a consideration of HK$200 million.

  • 2009

    In April, the Company was awarded “The World Most Growth Chinese Listed Companies 2009” by World Eminence Chinese Business Association.
    In April, the Group received “2008 The Best 30 Pulp and Paper Making Enterprises in China” award from China Paper Association.
    In June, the Group received “The 4th Capital Outstanding Paper Manufacturing Corporation from Capital Magazine.
    In November, the Group was elected “Hong Kong – Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner (Manufacturing)”. The recognition scheme was jointly organized by the Environment Bureau of the HKSAR and the Economic & Information Technology Commission of Guangdong Province.
    In December, the Group’s CEO, Mr Raymond Lee won Asia Money’s award as “Hong Kong’s Best Executive in 2009.”

  • 2010

  • 2011

    In January, theJiangxi Project commenced construction.
    In August, the Group’s fifteen production line (PM15) commenced operation at Hongmei plant, with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of containerboard.
    In August, our mills in Hongmei, Jiangsu, Huangyong and Chongqing have been granted Chain of Custody Certificate by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC-COC).
    In October, launched our ERP system.
    In November, the Group’s sixteen production line (PM16) commenced operation at Chongqing plant, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of containerboard.

  • 2012

    In May, the Group received “Top 10 Enterprises of Paper Industry in China Light Industries” by China National Light Industry Council and China Paper Association for 3 years.
    In July, the Group’s seventeen production (PM17) commenced operation at Hongmei plant, with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons of coated duplex board.
